This has been a slow as you go due to the virus. HAM Radio has been a really good distraction. Field day came and went, QSO parties and special events kept the summer hopping.
There was a good amount of time for exploring and planning possible SOTA/POTA activations in western Oregon and South-Western Idaho for when the weather cools off a little.
This summer spent time working with a Sotabeams segmented dipole, building a new low-power tri-band vertical and getting familiar with a recently acquired QRP radio.
Station portability is a very interesting side of the hobby and it fits right in with my off-road activities.
I am new to the portable side of Ham Radio, there is a lot to learn.
